This is a piece of rope with a burlap ncloth applied to keep it rigid. The only problem with it though is being ncloth it needs to have a fairly high poly count so this wouldnt be useable for the final piece so il probably end up just using a smoothed cube (as it will have a lot lower poly count to a cylinder).
